Borgata
Borgata has been doing online casino and gambling since 2013 but just recently took part in the NJ sportsbook area. Their strategy is simple, making their app and website incredibly easy to use. This also means, however, that they are lacking in some information if you are new to sports betting.
It was one of the last Atlantic City Casinos to join the online sports betting operation but that doesn’t mean they are the worst. They’ve been studying the competition and are ready to stand their ground. Let’s look at what they have to offer.
How to Sign Up and Make Bets
Like most other online sportsbooks, you can reach Borgata through their website or by downloading an app through the Google Play store for Android phones or through the iTunes store of iOS phones.
They will require you to sign up for an account. If you already have an account through the Borgata online casino, you won’t need to complete this step. Simply sign in with the username and password of that account.
Once you’ve entered all your information and have proved your location is in New Jersey, you can start making bets. There are several different betting options as well as markets to choose from, which we will later discuss.
In order to place bets, you need to deposit some money into your account. You have a few options to do this. They accept online banking transfers, or ACH debit, visa or MasterCard credit cards, or Skrill and Neteller.
If you would rather do it in person you can drive to their physical location and deposit cash into your account at the cage. You can also deposit cash into your account at a PayNearMe location, usually a 7-Eleven.

Types of Bets
Variety is key when it comes to betting types. If you want to keep things exciting, you want to be able to switch things up every once in a while. Borgata helps you do that by offering several different betting types.
Point spreads- This is a wager on the spread of points at the end of the game from the losing team to the winning team.
Moneylines- This is the easiest, most straightforward type of bet. You just bet on the which team will win.
Totals (over/under)-For this bet you can decide to bet an over bet that the total number of points scored by both teams will be over a certain number or an under bet when you would bet that the total score will be under a certain number.
Propositions (props)- This is a future bet on not who will win the game but on a specific event happening or player scoring.
Futures- This is a one time bet that you would place early on a game that is happening in the future.
Parlays- This is a bet on more than one event that are linked together. You must win both bets in order to win a parlay.
Teasers- This is a parlay bet that is a wager not on the winning or losing team but on the point spread.
Live Bets- You can place bets on a game that is playing as you place the bet. You can be watching a game on TV and simultaneously place bets as the game evolves.
Back to top ↑Bonuses, Promotions, Rewards
